Jabali – Rosewood

Citadel's Rosewood Jabali is a sturdy knife designed as a utilitarian tool that is hefty enough for light chopping, yet lightweight enough to avoid fatigue. Its robust design is limited to 50 units.

With a hand forged blade from DNH7 steel and differentially hardened using Japanese methods, it ensures resilience, durability, and excellent edge retention. The differential heat treatment process not only hardens the edge, but retains a more flexible spine to ensure that the blade is less likely to break on impact.

Additionally, the blade is sharpened to a full convex profile to further increase the retention of the hardened edge. Added features include a finger cutout and notched spine to allow for more control and precision when the knife is in use.

As expected based on its name, the handle of this knife is made from rosewood, a type of wood known for its solidity, durability, and hardness.

Included with this knife is a full grain leather belt sheath for easy carrying. However, it should not be used to store the knife long term as DNH7 is a high carbon steel. Therefore, a nylon zipper pouch for long term storage is included.
