    PRODUCT DETAILS

    The Chinese nine-ring broadsword is heavily inspired by the Chinese polearm known as guan dao. This was used by the Chinese military general, Guan Yu, and is most popularly known as the Green Dragon Crescent Blade (靑龍偃月刀) in the Chinese historical classic, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The full tang blade is hand-forged with a Huali wood shaft. Pattern steel, folded repeatedly, produces visual layers and lines across the blade which can either be sharpened or left unsharpened. Nine brass fittings adorn the top of the blade's spine. Accompanying the sword is a scabbard and free engraving is also available.
