Windlass Voyager Scramasax

The Voyager Scramasax Seax draws on the historic Viking seax, a versatile utility knife traditionally carried for daily work and travel. This version is crafted as a compact, tactical-style interpretation that also suits collecting, display, reenactment, bushcraft, and camping use.

Its hand-forged blade is made from 1075 high carbon steel and features a straight cutting edge with a ridge that supports precise control. Two sets of narrow fullers run along the length, adding visual detail while preserving the distinctive character of the design.

The grip is shaped from bone, echoing historical examples and offering strong resistance to humidity. At the butt, a ring and lanyard provide convenient carry and attachment options.

A dark brown leather sheath is included for storage and transport. It is embossed with interlaced ringlets and bands, finished with brass hardware, and fitted with a threading cord for attachment to a belt or sash.
