    PRODUCT DETAILS

    Reproducing the Model 1850 Union sword, this sword is most commonly associated with staff and field officers, one of which was General Robert E. Lee who played a pivotal role in restoring peace following the war. Such swords were predominantly deployed by the Confederates and seen in numerous campaigns.

    Made from high carbon 1095 British military specification steel that flexes over 20° and correctly returns to form, this replica sword boasts fittings entirely of brass. The pommel and handguard feature rich ornamentation, including foliage, military trophies, US writing, "E Pluribus Unum" (out of many, one), and "Iron Proof". Similar embellishments decorate the blade with a floral white color against a black field. The sword, a prime accessory for reenactors, is provided with a steel scabbard.
