Windlass Sergeant’s Halberd

The Sergeant's Halberd developed during the age of firearms and was designed to face enemies with less protective armor. While often seen as a symbol of rank for officers, it also saw a good part of fighting in its day, since it was lighter, faster, and much more maneuverable than its other contemporary melee weapons.

This halberd head is made out of high carbon steel. It is historically accurate, based on museum pieces that can still be seen today, featuring a peak on one side, a pointy spearhead on the tip, and an axe on the other.

Please note that this halberd does not come with its own pole, but it can be easily mounted on one, even on a wooden dowel found in your local hardware or home supply store. While it has established cutting bevels, it isn't sharpened.
