PRODUCT DETAILS

When the sword or spear couldn't finish the job, the mace most likely did. This is a replica of an Early Norman Mace, a weapon that was very simple to use—it required just a simple bash on its target and it didn’t matter if the target had armor, a shield, or nothing at all. Maces like these were used during the Norman invasions and were especially useful for caving in Saxon helms, which were sometimes even made out of leather.

This mace head is made out of cast steel, a material that is very tough and rigid. It features multiple blunt spikes and a rope decoration, just as the originals did, made for maximum functionality when smashing.

The handle is made out of wood that has been darkened and features indents allowing for a secure grip. The butt cap on the bottom is made of steel and has a lanyard ring that can allow for the mace to be tied up on the belt for easy transport, or even tied to the hand.
