Tanjiro’s Katana Demon Slayer Sword T10 Steel

No stranger to Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) fans, Kamado Tanjiro is the series’ main protagonist who has sworn to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan—the King of Demons. After passing the Final Selection test, he received his first nichirin katana made by the wordsmith Haganezuka Hotaru. 

This stunning katana by Hanbon Forge is a replica of Tanjiro’s first katana. Its blade is forged from T10 steel—an alloy with properties roughly equivalent to 1095 high carbon steel, but with the addition of silicon—resulting in a stronger blade with better edge retention. 

Staying true to the anime, this katana is equipped with a black ring handguard connected to its core by lines—reminiscent of a wagon wheel. The wooden handle is covered in red and wrapped tightly with black leather cord. Completing this piece is a black scabbard.

After the events in the Swordsmith Village, Tanjiro switched to a different katana.
