Damascus Clay Tempered Dragon Koshirae Katana

This Damascus Steel Japanese Katana sword has been folded 13 times, producing over 8000 stunning and visible layers across its blade. It features a motif of the Japanese Dragon, representing courage and bravery, engraved on the blade, scabbard, handguard, and handle. The metal has been polished by hand to enhance its reflective shine, and quenched and clay-tempered for optimal flexibility and rigidity, with a real hamon.

The dark handle tightly wrapped in a silk katate-maki (cord style wrap) overlays a rough rayskin pattern, while the black scabbard is wooden with a shiny gloss effect. The brass fittings are fully disassemblable/reassemblable, permitting easy maintenance. The blade, lacking bohi (grooves), strikes with greater impact, making it particularly suitable for tameshigiri practice. The sword can be ordered unsharpened for safe Iaido, cosplay, or decorative use.
