Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Alloy Tsuba Samurai

This beginner's functional Japanese Katana sword is made from reliable 1060 high carbon steel. It has been properly heat-treated, oil-quenched, and polished. The blade is full tang and double-pegged, offering increased security, while the bohi (grooves) reduce its weight and facilitate a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) during slashing.

The handle is traditionally crafted, featuring a rayskin base under a tight tsuka-maki wrap made of silk. Its scabbard is constructed from sturdy wood. The fittings are entirely alloy, enhanced by the presence of a Japanese demon designed to scare away bad energy.
