Dragon Wakizashi Black Carbon Steel Blade

Wakizashi swords were the secondary weapons of the samurai, used alongside the longer Katana. This Wakizashi is a battle-ready, functional replica made from 1060 high carbon steel. It's been heat-treated, quenched, and properly hand-polished in 12 steps to achieve ideal hardness and a shining effect.

The blade is full tang and double-pegged for increased security. It features a special treatment that maintains its black color to help combat rust. The handle is traditionally wrapped with tsuka-maki over rayskin, ensuring a firm grip. The wood scabbard is colored red for a striking appearance.

Fittings are a blend of brass and alloy, feature a Japanese dragon motif that symbolizes courage and bravery. They can be disassembled for thorough maintenance and inspection.

This Wakizashi includes a dedicated sword bag for safe storage.
