Windlass Mercenary Holbein Dagger Contoured Grip

Based on the short yet deadly knife sidearms, this Holbein-type dagger is a replica used by renowned Swiss mercenaries, the Reisläufer, in many dangerous endeavors during the 15th and 16th centuries. It was a compact weapon that would go unnoticed on the soldier's belt while easily being unsheathed to inflict a deadly thrust through the gaps in the existing plate armor of that period.

The Holbein dagger is forged from 1065 high carbon steel and comes sharpened, ready for practical cutting tests. The handle features a historically accurate contoured grip that ensures a robust hold. The blade is double-edged with a diamond cross-section, which enhances its toughness and durability. Its pommel includes three studs for increased security. The dagger also comes with a leather sheath.
