Windlass 1943 Officer’s Kukri Gurkha Warriors

This official Kukri sword, utilized by officers in the Ghurkha fighting regiments, comes from Windlass Steelcraft, the original government contractor since 1943. It boasts a simple yet highly precise design, free of decorations to preserve its practicality. A distinctive feature of this Kukri is the prong near the handguard, reminiscent of the "3-pronged Spear of Shiva."
Forged from 1065 high-carbon steel, the Kukri offers an ideal blend of flexibility and rigidity. Its recurved blade shape significantly improves cutting capabilities. The handle, contoured and made from genuine buffalo horn, provides a comfortable grip. Brass fittings securely join the components, ensuring a firm and stable assembly. The Kukri comes with a leather scabbard and two accessory knives, essential for Ghurkha officers.
