    Forged from 1050 steel, this Iaito is not designed for tameshigiri (cutting tests) or sparring. The full tang blade features a suguha (straight) wire brushed hamon (temper line) made prominent after being mirror polished, and a deep bohi (groove) on both sides of the blade. The bohi helps to lighten the overall weight of the sword, improve the balance point, and gives a better audible feedback when the iaito is swung.

    Equipped with iron and brass koshirae (fittings), the tsuka (handle) has a tight tsukamaki with hishigami to give the blade a good grip. Sheathed in a black glossy lacquered saya (scabbard), this iaito is a durable and affordable blade for any iaido practitioner.
