Windlass Battlecry Maldon Seax

The Seax was a medieval weapon used by various cultures in Europe, including the Saxons and Vikings. This was a single-edged tool useful for daily utility activities, which then turned into a very effective and functional weapon when made as the size of a sword.

This is a modern battle-ready Seax weapon, functional and put through rigorous testing. It is made out of 1065 high carbon steel with a battle-hardened, darkened finish to make it appealing as well as protecting it from outdoor elements such as rust and corrosion. It has been tempered to 50 HRC, which makes it ideal for chopping. The blade is single-edged with a small notch near the guard and iconic Viking fullers running through its length.

The one-handed handle has been tightly wrapped to allow for a firm grip with a historically accurate Viking-style pommel and very small guard.

This sword comes with its own matching scabbard with a belt stop, making it easy to carry whether on the belt or tied on a backpack.
