    PRODUCT DETAILS

    The Classic Pro Ume (Plum) Wakizashi can be hand forged from T10 or folded steel and comes with the option of featuring a bohi to lighten the overall weight of the sword. The full tang live blade is mirror polished by hand to enhance the visibility of the hamon.

    Fitted with red copper tsuba (guard) with plum blossom motif detailed in gold and bronze and brass habaki (blade collar), the beauty of this wakizashi is complemented with a tsuka (handle) covered with same (rayskin) and tight tsukamaki with hishigami that uses either red or black ito.

    Completing the aesthetic design of this wakizashi is the saya (scabbard) fully wrapped in rattan along with koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard) and kurigata (knob to attach sageo) made of buffalo horn.
