Its specially formulated and heat-treated blade offers optimal edge hardness and toughness. The sword features elegant steel fittings that stay true to tradition while maintaining clean lines. The secure handling is ensured by the black leather-over-cranberry rayskin grip. A rosewood scabbard with matching fittings completes the package. 

    Scott M. Rodell has over 30 years of training in Yang Style Taijiquan, studying under esteemed Chinese masters. He is the founder of the Great River Taoist Center, with branches worldwide. Rodell is also an accomplished author, with highly recommended books on Chinese Swordsmanship. With Rodell's expertise, the Hanwei Chinese Cutting Sword offers exceptional quality and authenticity.
