Katana Damascus Steel Sword Clay Tempered Flying Dragon

This Damascus-Steel Katana, folded a total of 13 times, possesses well over 8192 visible, enticing layers or patterns that dance across its entire blade length. It has been further polished with an authentic hazuya stone, lending it a bright, mirror-like reflection while its clay-tempered to produce a genuine hamon and a harder edge suitable for practical use.

The blade's tang is double-pegged for enhanced security, and its other half features two sets of bohi (grooves). These grooves lighten the sword's weight and make it tachikaze (sound of a perfect flash) friendly for training purposes. Its handle, wrapped traditionally with rayskin and a silk tsuka-maki pattern, complements a hardwood scabbard. The fittings on this Katana are of brass and copper, featuring a Japanese flying dragon representing heaven and earth. This Katana could be unsharpened, ideal for practical cutting use on a tameshigiri target, or serve as safe decor for Iaido.
