Wakizashi Damascus Steel Sword Full Tang Iron Tsuba

Wakizashi blades, the samurais' secondary swords, replaced the Tachi or Katana as a last resort battle tool. This is a replica of a Japanese Wakizashi, made from modern Damascus Steel. It is folded repeatedly to produce numerous visible layers dancing across the blade. The full tang is double-pegged for increased security, and the blade is polished, quenched, and heat-treated to achieve ideal hardness levels.

This Wakizashi features a traditionally wrapped rayskin and leather tsuka-maki, ensuring a firm grip. Its bohi (groove) simplifies handling and make the tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) achievable. The scabbard is crafted from reliable hardwood, while the darkened fittings, forged from iron and brass, can be fully disassembled.
