Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model #13

This Dojo Pro Katana Model #13 from Ronin Katana is an elegant looking piece forged from 1060 steel and through hardened. The katana features a unique tsuba (guard) based on an actual antique Japanese blade and blackened iron fuchi kashira (hilt collar and pommel cap). The gold colored menuki is made of brass.

The tsuka (handle) of this katana is inlaid with white same (rayskin) and the tight tsukamaki uses a silk ito (handle wrap). It comes sheathed in a glossy black lacquered saya (scabbard) that is fitted with hand cut and polished buffalo horn kurigata (knob for sageo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap). The synthetic silk sageo (carrying cord) is thick and of great quality.
