Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model #21

The Dojo Pro Katana Model #21 from Ronin Katana is both eye catching and elegant. Although the red saya (scabbard) draws one's attention immediately, the muted red color gives it a distinguished appearance.

Forged from 1060 steel and through hardened, this wave theme katana has a maru gata (round) tsuba (guard) with wave motifs. The fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) is made of blackened iron while the brass menuki is gold colored, standing out from the rest of the black tsuka (handle).

The tsuka is covered in black same (rayskin) and held in pace by the tsukamaki using black silk ito (handle wrap). As previously mentioned, this masterpiece comes sheathed in a muted red glossy saya that has black speckles. The kurigata (knob for sgeo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap) are made from hand cut and polished buffalo horn. The black sageo (carrying cord) is made of synthetic silk.
