Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model #7

Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Katana Model #7 is a unique looking sword that is forged from 1060 steel and through hardened. This process ensures that the blade is hardened throughout, retaining a sharpened edge for a longer duration.

Featuring a maru gata (round or circular) tsuba (guard), the katana also comes with a blackened iron fuchi kashira (hilt collar and pommel cap). Additionally the habaki (blade collar) and brass menuki (decorative hilt ornaments) are painted gold for detail.

The tsuka (handle) is inlaid with white same (rayskin) and the tsukamaki uses black silk ito (handle wrap). The black glossy saya (scabbard) has hand cut and polished buffalo horn koiguchi (mouth of saya), kurigata (knob for sageo), and kojiri (scabbard end cap). The thick black and white sageo (carrying cord) is made of synthetic silk and is used to secure the saya to the obi (belt).
