This hand-forged "Han Wu Jian" sword pays tribute to the bladed-edged weapon used by Emperor Wu (156 - 57 BCE) of the Han Dynasty, who significantly expanded China's territory. The blade is crafted as a Han Dynasty Jian, boasting a longer handle and sharper blade. It's made from Damascus Steel, which has been folded 13 times, resulting in lively patterns on the blade.
The blade has been hand-polished and traditionally clay tempered, for differential hardening of its edge, while presenting a real hamon. The sword's fittings are brass, elegantly engraved with Han Dynasty symbols and emblems; the handle and scabbard are of high-quality Huali wood. This Jian sword is versatile—it can be used for functional cutting practice tests on various targets, martial arts training, or as decorative testament to Emperor Wu's conquests.
