Katana Damascus Steel Sword Folded Clay Tempered Blade

This Japanese Katana features a blue sea wave theme throughout the design, made from the mysterious and renowned Damascus Steel. The steel has been folded multiple times, revealing enticing blade layers further enhanced by traditional hazuya stone polish. It's been hardened by authentic clay tempering, producing a real hamon line.

The tang is double-pegged for increased stability. The blade does not feature a bohi (groove), so it creates a greater impact when used for slashing. The handle mirrors those used by samurais: a wooden core wrapped with rayskin and tight tsuka-maki. The scabbard, a sturdy hardwood piece, boasts a shiny blue gloss effect.

The katana's fittings are made of brass and copper, featuring the Japanese sea wave symbolizing good luck. This Katana can be assembled and disassembled for tameshigiri cutting practice, safe Iaido, decor, or samurai cosplay.
