    Based on a historical blade dating back to the ancient world, this double-edged Chinese Jian sword has an 8-sided blade. A hand-and-a-half sword, it has a blade made out of Damascus steel, hand-polished, heat-treated, and oil-quenched, which has been folded repeatedly to produce a total of 8192 visually enticing layers.

    The brown scabbard and handle are made out of lapacho wood. The handle, wrapped in a ribbed cord, improves handling control. Fittings are made of brass, and the sword itself can be sharpened for cutting practice or kept unsharpened for safe Chinese martial arts training. Included is a free sword bag for storage.
