Iaito Training Sword 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Oil Quenched Full Tang

This is an unsharpened Iaito sword that's blunted, making it safe to use. It has the same stability, handling characteristics, and attributes as a real, functional Samurai Katana sword. This sword carries the symbol of the Japanese Beast God, signifying lightning and thunder. Made from 1060 high carbon steel using a maru method, also known as single steel, it has been polished with a Hazuya stone for a bright shine and oil-quenched for added hardness and flexibility.

The sword's tang is double-pegged, featuring a traditionally made handle wrapped in synthetic silk Tsuka-maki set atop rough rayskin material. The handle, made from hardwood, is presented in a matte color, adding to its dark Beast God theme. The blade features Bohi grooves, producing the Tachikaze sound when slashed. All fittings are made of premium quality iron, alloy, copper, and brass. The sword can be assembled and disassembled, making it suitable for beginners or veterans looking to perfect their Kamae, Katana sword stances. It is accompanied by a free sword bag.
