    PRODUCT DETAILS

    This is a Japanese Katana sword, featuring a shinogi-zukuri blade profile, suitable for light tameshigiri, dojo training, and use as elaborate samurai decor. Crafted from 1095 high carbon steel renowned for its durability and resistance to breaking during practical use, the blade has been hand-polished to a mirror shine and subjected to a quenching and hardening process to achieve optimal strength.

    The full tang blade is doubly pegged for additional security and traditionally wrapped with a tightly-bound leather tsuka-maki above a rough-textured rayskin material. The accompanying scabbard, made of protective hardwood, has been lacquered for aesthetic appeal, while the sword's fixtures incorporate alloy, brass, and copper in a homage to samurai training. A complementary sword bag for storage is included.
