Katana T10 Steel Sword with Dragon Scabbard

This Japanese Katana sword is a symbol of courage and bravery, the main motifs embodied by the Japanese dragon. Made from rigid and functional T10 high carbon steel, it's clay-tempered to produce a genuine hamon; this makes the edge harder than the spine. The double-tang blade boosts security and stability. It has been hand-polished and quenched for an extra mirror shine.

The sword features two sets of bohi (grooves) which lower its weight and produce the perfect slash sound, known as tachikaze. The handle comprises a wooden core wrapped with rough rayskin and tsuka-maki wrap, providing a stronger grip. The wooden scabbard has a shiny gloss to it. All the fittings are made from brass, each of them engraved with the dragon motif; this also graces the blade's etchings.
