Katana T10 Steel Sword Clay Tempered Genuine Hamon

This is a Katana samurai sword made from sturdy yet flexible T10 high carbon steel, renowned for its resilience after practical use. This Japanese blade is styled in a maru (single steel) format, and has been hand-polished with a traditional hazuya stone method to achieve a mirror shine effect. It has also been quenched to achieve ideal hardness levels.

The blade is full tang and double-pegged, enhancing its security. It also features a bohi (groove), which reduces the weight and facilitates a tachikze (sound feedback) when used for slashing. The handle is crafted from hardwood, wrapped with rayskin beneath a tight hineri-maki (cord wrap style). It comes with a scabbard adorned with a glossy golden effect, enhancing its visual appeal.

This sword could be an ideal choice for tameshigiri cutting practice if sharpened, or alternatively, could serve as a dojo Iaido and Kendo training piece if ordered unsharpened. A free sword bag is included.
