    A Main Gauche or left hand dagger was often used in the 16th and 17th centuries with a rapier or sword. Besides serving as side arms wielded with the left hand to assist with offense and defense, the main gauche was also a status symbol.

    Kingston Arms' Main Gauche is a simple but noble looking piece, matching one of their rapiers. During that time, the "Schools of Fence" in Europe taught the use of both weapons in combination to maximize the effectiveness of each piece.

    Like its longer counterpart, this parrying dagger has a blade forged from high carbon steel, matte stainless steel guard, and a cord-wrapped grip.
