Ninjato Damascus Full Tang Blade

This is an affordable yet functional Ninjato sword, named after the supposed straight and secretive-edged weapon used by the legendary Japanese ninja. It is fabricated from Damascus high carbon steel, folded 13 times, creating 8192 visible blade layers. The steel has been polished to a mirror-like shine and has also been quenched and hardened for optimal flexibility and strength.

This Ninjato features a straight blade with bohi (grooves), making it perfect for beginner tachikaze (the sound of a perfect swing). The handle comprises a silk tsuka-maki on rough rayskin, while the scabbard is wooden with a shiny lacquered and glossed finish. The fittings are constructed from iron and alloy, displaying a Japanese sea wave motif, symbolizing luck and prosperity.
