Windlass Norwegian Stiklestad Viking King Olaf

This sword is a tribute to the mighty King Olaf in the Battle of Stiklestad (1030), which resulted in his well-known recognition as St. Olaf. It is a Viking sword modeled after an original with historically accurate 10th-century design. It boasts a broad and exceptionally light tapering blade, meant to be used as a one-handed weapon alongside a shield, primarily for powerful cutting attacks.

The sword is forged from 1065 high carbon steel, renowned for its perfect balance of strength and flexibility, ideal for cutting. Its handle features a wooden grip, meticulously wrapped in leather for a secure grasp. The Viking-style pommel and guard are constructed of steel and copper, beautifully engraved with runic lines.
