Han Jian Sword Octahedral

A time known for heavily armored troops and metallurgical advances, this octahedral Han Jian (八面汉剑) is a replica of swords that were used during the Han Dynasty. Its full tang blade is constructed from T10 folded steel, differentially hardened, clay tempered, and mirror polished by hand to bring out the visibility of the folded grain and temper line that adds to its aesthetics.

Equipped with fitting that are made of solid brass, this functional sword is very sharp and solid. This Han Jian is unique in the sense that the pommel is attached securely to the handle instead of being glued on. The wooden handles are also customized to fit the handle precisely to avoid excess space which can lead to rattling after long term use. Completing the exquisite design of the sword is a scabbard made of ebony, giving it an elegant and luxurious appearance.
