Kingston Arms Shell Guard Cutlass – Blackbeard’s Pirate Sword

The favorite sword of pirates was none other than the Shell Guard Cutlass. This weapon was often short and crude, yet it worked wonders in the hands of a talented pirate. One of the most famous users was Blackbeard himself, known as Edward Teach. It was versatile and useful in any situation, from cutting rope and digging ground to punching and slicing, even pairing well with a revolver.
This Shell Guard Cutlass is a functional replica of one such sword. It is made of 1566 carbon steel and comes sharpened, ready for action. The blade, while very tough, is light and includes a fuller to make cutting swift and easy.
The one-handed handle is wrapped in leather and protected by a finger guard and a shell guard above, and a large round pommel at the bottom, each made of stainless steel.
It comes with its own scabbard, which is leather-wrapped and reinforced with a stainless steel chape and locket.
