Shadow Dancer Pink Snow Cherry Blossom 1095 Unokubi Zukuri Katana

Forged from 1095 carbon steel, the unokubi zukuri (cormorant’s neck style) blade also features a single bohi (groove). Combined, this design is lighter and has improved point of balance, making the sword quick, agile, and maneuverable. Accentuating the overall aesthetics of the blade is a gunome (wave-like) hamon that mirrors the quiet strength and grace found in nature. 

The fittings on this katana including the maru gata (round) tsuba are adorned with cherry blossom motifs—a symbol of renewal and perseverance. 

One mekugi secures the blade to the wooden core hilt covered in white samegawa wrapped tightly in pace with white artificial silk tsuka ito for a secure and comfortable grip. This elegant piece is completed with a white and pink lacquered scabbard that evokes the gentle cascade of cherry blossoms.
