Blue Shirasaya Katana Damascus Steel Sword

This Katana sword features black koshirae (fittings), while its blade is a dark red, crafted with the mysterious Damascus Steel folding techniques. This method has resulted in around 8192 vibrant, visible blade layers. The sword boasts a double-pegged, full-tang secured blade and a bohi (groove). This makes this weapon lighter, and the sword will produce a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) for slashing.

The handle is traditionally fashioned from rough rayskin, covered by a smooth, tight leather tsuka-maki for a powerfully firm grip. A hardwood scabbard, wrapped in rayskin and lacquered, enhances its visual appeal. This sword's fittings are made of brass, accentuated by a golden-hued Japanese dragon symbol, representing bravery and courage. The Katana comes with a complimentary bag and can be utilized for cutting, training, or as a decorative piece.
