Windlass Russian Kindjal

The Kindjal is a type of double-edged sword that has been used since antiquity in regions such as the Caucasus Mountains. Over the centuries, it has evolved into several different variations. This particular model is a Russian Kindjal, featuring a double-edged blade with an inward curvature used during the 20th century in many military conflicts. It was particularly favored as both a sidearm and a primary weapon by Georgian and Cossack warriors.

The blade is made out of high carbon steel and has been factory sharpened, making it suitable for cutting practice. It features two sets of smaller grooves running about halfway up the blade, ending in a reinforced tip that is effective for both thrusting and cutting.

This Kindjal does not come with a handguard, as it was primarily designed as a sidearm that could be easily carried. The handle is made of hardwood with a see-through riveted tang and a rounded, broadened pommel, allowing for a very strong grip.

The Kindjal comes with its own scabbard for safe storage.
