    PRODUCT DETAILS

    This Samurai Sword Model #15 from Ronin Katana is hand forged from 1045 steel, differentially hardened, and clay tempered to reveal a beautiful hamon (temper line). The blade is secured to the handle with double mekugi (pegs) for added strength and stability.

    Equipped with fittings (tsuba - guard, fuchi - hilt collar, kashira - pommel cap, and menuki (decorative metal ornaments on the handle) made from zinc alloy, the look of this katana is complemented with a tsuka (handle) covered with genuine same (rayskin). Wrapped with cotton ito (handle wrap), this sword comes sheathed in a lacquered saya (scabbard) and cotton sageo (carrying cord).
