    Model #2 from Ronin Katana is a blade forged from 1045 steel, differentially hardened, and clay tempered to ensure that its hardened edge stays sharp while maintaining a flexible spine that absorbs impact when in use. This tempering process also results in a striking hamon that becomes even more prominent after it has been polished. The katana's blade is secured to the handle with two pins for extra stability.

    This sword has koshirae (fittings) that are made of zinc alloy. The circular tsuba (guard) and kashira (pommel cap) is black with gold details and ornate engravings. The fuchi (hilt collar) and menuki (decorative hilt ornaments) also have the same colors to match. The tsuka is covered with genuine white same (rayskin) and tsukamaki using black cotton ito. The katana also comes with black lacquered saya (scabbard) that has a beautiful design and black cotton sageo (carrying cord).
