Ronin Katana Entry Level Model #4

Ronin Katana's Model #4 is a Katana forged from 1045 steel, differentially hardened, and clay tempered to reveal a beautiful blade with a hamon (temper line). The hardened edge stays sharp and the spine remains flexible to reduce the likelihood of it breaking upon impact when in use. Secured to the handle with two pins, the sword is sturdy and ready for tameshigiri (cutting tests) on soft and semi soft targets.

Featuring zinc alloy koshirae (fittings), the tsuba (guard), fuchi (hilt collar), kashira (pommel cap), and menuki (decorative hilt ornaments) are either black or gold, in line with the katana's overall aesthetics. The circular tsuba also has ornate carvings. The tsuka (handle) is covered with genuine white same (rayskin) and the tight tsukamaki uses black cotton ito (handle wrap). This katana comes sheathed in a black glossy lacquered saya (scabbard) that has a black cotton sageo (carrying cord).
