The tanto reflects the samurai's soul, serving as an indispensable companion to these legendary warriors. This replica is hand-made and fully functional, featuring a battlefield-style design with a defensive handguard. It is crafted using the gyaku-kobuse method, which combines two types of steel, including a core of 1095 high carbon steel.

The blade has been folded 13 times, creating Damascus Steel-like visible layers. It is full tang and double-pegged for enhanced security, and has undergone a genuine clay tempering process to produce a real hamon and a significantly harder edge. Additionally, it has been heat-treated, quenched, and polished with a hazuya stone, giving it a traditional and strong shine.

The scabbard and handle are crafted from quality hardwood and are carefully wrapped with real shirasaya skin. The fittings, which include brass and copper, feature a Japanese dragon motif symbolizing bravery and courage and can be disassembled. The scabbard is also adorned with horn fittings.
