Straight European Saber with a Knuckle Bow and a False Edge

This European saber features a straight blade with a distinct double-edged tip—known as a reverse edge—where the majority of the blade is sharpened on one side, while the tip is honed on both edges. Historically, this type of design emerged in the 18th and 19th centuries, enhancing both cutting efficiency and thrusting precision, especially in cavalry and infantry use.

The blade is forged from 5160 spring steel, a tough and flexible material highly regarded for cutting practice. It also resists rust well, making it suitable for long-term display with minimal upkeep. A decorative black-accented fuller runs along the blade, adding visual appeal without compromising structural integrity.
