Windlass Sword of Edward Black Prince

Respecting and honoring Edward of Woodstock, often known as the Black Prince, this sword is a testament to his legacy, particularly his distinctive black armor. It is a 14th to 15th-century hand-and-a-half European double-edged sword that features emblems and symbols saluting Prince Edward. These include a three-dimensional animal head and the White Dragon at the center of its cruciform handguard.

The sword is forged from 440 stainless steel, renowned for its resistance to rust and corrosion for months. Its handle is meticulously wrapped in leather and surrounded by a wire cord to ensure a firm grip. The fittings are crafted from cast metal with an antiqued silver-plated finish. "Eduardo de Woodstock" is etched on the blade, signifying its forging by Marto/Toledo of Spain. Despite its unsharpened edge, this decorative sword leaves a lasting impression.
