    The rapier was a civilian weapon between the 16th to 17th centuries. As it became associated with fashion, court, and dueling, many styles emerged. One of the most popular was the Spanish or Cup Hilt Rapier which effectively combined style and function.

    Hanwei's Taza Rapier replicates the best of those designs. Its name "Taza" translates to "Cup" in Spanish. With an elegantly tapered high carbon steel blade with a short fuller, an intricately carved cup, and an exquisite pommel to match, this beautiful sword comes sheathed in a leather covered scabbard.
