    Known for its pivotal role on the feudal Japanese battlefield, the Yari by Paul Chen, with its demanding manipulation, was emblematic of the Samurai's skill. This particular model imitates the 'su-yari' or 'straight-spear' design, embodying a sense of stark simplicity and lethal efficiency.

    The spear's blade, forged in T10 high-carbon steel, is double-edged, triangulated, and features a deep fuller on the flat side. The spearhead's differential tempering lends a clear hamon to each edge, with extended tangs designed for shock absorption. The one-piece staff, finished in textured black, is constructed for durability and features a flattened bottom section for blade orientation. This longer version has a 16-3/4” blade, complementing the shorter-bladed Yari, model SH2312.
