Windlass Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife

Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Knives were tactical military blades carried by the U.S. and British Commonwealth Forces during World War II. This is a functional replica of one such blade, made with the same design and materials as the real ones.

The blade of this commando weapon is made out of forged high-carbon steel. It has been carefully and thoroughly blued to make it stealthy, as well as to give it higher protection against rust and corrosion. The steel has been heat tempered to be sturdy and has a reinforced mid-rib to allow for more powerful thrusts.

The one-handed hilt is made out of metal and has a fitting ferrule to allow for a very firm grip, with a slight widening in the center. It also features a small handguard that acts more as a hand-stopper than for protection.

This commando knife comes with its own top-grain black leather sheath with a blued steel tip, belt loop slots, and four sew tabs that can be used to attach the sheath to a uniform or any type of equipment, as well as a black elastic retention strap.
