Windlass The Freedom Fighter Early Scottish Claymore

This is the Freedom Fighter Early Scottish Claymore, a massive greatsword that was once wielded by the Scottish highlanders in battle. It is made as a replica as seen in the popular movie "Braveheart," featuring Mel Gibson as the Scottish freedom fighter William Wallace.

This Claymore has a double-edged blade made from 1065 high-carbon steel, known for its optimal level of flexibility and toughness. The blade is broad and parallel until the edge, a common trait in early designs of the Claymore, allowing for more power behind a brute cut that can take down mail armor.

The handle is massive and enables a strong two-handed grip. It has a big crossguard for protection with a leather wrap not just on the grip but also on the ricasso of the blade, allowing for more versatility when used for swinging.
