GDFB HEMA Chevalier Dagger – French 15th Century

The dagger was the most powerful weapon when facing a fully-armored plate knight during the height of the 15th century! Their compact sizes with sturdy blades made it a key component in finding the gaps in armor during a grapple.

This is the Chevalier dagger, a replica made for training and reenactment sparring based on a 15th-century design.

It is made of high carbon steel and tempered to 55 HRC. It comes unsharpened and with a blunt edge as it is intended for training purposes and HEMA.

The handle is bare wood with mild steel fittings, such as the guard and the pommel. It comes with its very own handmade leather sheath.
