Damascus Clay Tempered Dragon Hawk Katana

This brown-colored Katana is a genuine Japanese samurai sword. It sports all the historical characteristics that a samurai would have utilized in battle. The sword is crafted from Damascus Steel, folded 13 times to produce around 8192 visibly stunning patterns across the blade. The blade has been accurately clay-tempered for hardening its edge and to create a real hamon temper line.

The fittings of the sword are made entirely of brass and copper, adorned with Japanese dragons and snakes. These symbols represent courage, bravery, and protection for the wielder. The handle, with a wooden core, is wrapped in rough rayskin material and covered with a silk katate-maki (wrap style), offering a robust grip. The scabbard, made from huali wood, is secured by buffalo horn mountings.
