Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model #2

Forged from 1060 steel and hardened, the blade of the Dojo Pro Katana Model #2 from Ronin Katana has a consistent hardness throughout the blade after being heated and rapidly quenched. The tsuba (guard) is based on an actual antique Japanese blade and comes with a butterfly and flower motifs. The fuchi kashira (hilt collar and pommel cap) is made of blackened iron while also being equipped with a gold colored habaki (blade collar) and brass menuki (decorative ornament).

The tsuka (handle) of this katana is inlaid with white same (rayskin) and tightly bound tsukamaki using black silk ito (handle wrap). For carrying and storage purposes, this katana comes with a black glossy saya (scabbard) that is lacquered and fitted with hand cut and polished buffalo horn kurigata (knob for sageo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap). The synthetic silk sageo is black.
