Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model #1

Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Katana Model #1 has a 1060 steel blade that is through hardened and a maru gata (round or circular) tsuba (guard) based on an actual antique Japanese sword. the other koshirae (fittings) of this katana includes a gold colored habaki (blade collar), blackened iron fuchi kashira (hilt collar and pommel cap), and a gold colored brass menuki (decorative ornament).

The tsuka (handle) of this sword is inlaid with white same (rayskin) and the tight tsukamaki uses black tsuka ito (handle wrap) to give it a solid and comfortable grip. The saya (scabbard) is black, glossy, and lacquered while fittings such as the kurigata (knob for carrying cord), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap) are made of hand cut and polished buffalo horn. The thick synthetic silk sageo (carrying cord) is black and white.
